Apartment Maintenance Job Summary:
A large property management company in Grand Rapids has an opening for a handyman to do basic building maintenance and general repairs around the property and help with grounds work.
Apartment Maintenance Requirements:
- Painting, Drywall repair, light plumbing, fixture repair and replacement
- Fix garbage disposal, fridge and stove repairs, hang blinds, and shelves
- Answering calls from residents and troubleshooting repairs
- Apartment turnovers to prepare for new residents
- Grounds work, snow shoveling, and general support to the team.
Schedule & Pay:
- 8am-5pm, extra hours as needed
- $20/HR
Apartment Maintenance Qualifications:
- Ability to use power tools and have basic tools
- Ability to fix leaky sinks, change garbage disposals, install appliances
- Drywall, painting, light handyman work
- Previous experience with apartment maintenance
- Must have your own vehicle
- Willingness to work outdoors and indoors and in all kinds of weather conditions
- Previous handyman experience or construction experience is necessary
