Job Full Description
Production Team Member Job Summary: A Grand Rapids custom flooring manufacture is seeking a team member. This role is a floating position that will be working at different stations as needed to help make cement flooring and flooring pedestals. This company offers a great pay for skills program upon hire in.
Production Team Member Responsibilities:
- Running different machines including automatic welders, water jets, saws, small presses
- Stacking, labeling finished materials
- Prepping molds for the cement
- Using a trimmer to remove excess cement from the mold
- General preventative maintenance
- Filling out production paperwork
Schedule and Pay:
- 1st shift 7am – 5pm Monday -Thursday with overtime as required
- $16.00/hr
Production Team Member Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand job aids and instructional materials printed in English
- Ability to lift/move product weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to work with in a team environment and independently
Pay for skills program: After someone has worked 30days. someone can earn up to $22.00/HR from the $16.00/HR as they learn new skills. It is encouraged for everyone to be cross trained and this program support this philosophy with a monetary reward for learning.
