Material Handler Job Summary: Are you looking for a great opportunity with a privately held company that offers competitive wages and benefits? That treats their employees and customers with respect? Material Handler Requirements:
- Operating a forklift
- Moving materials throughout the facility to workstations and the warehouse
- Assisting with production set ups as requested
- Operates equipment including stapler and stretch film machines
- Making boxes
- Supply skids to locations
- Use scales to weigh containers
- Proper inventory tracking of packaging materials, pallets, shippers, drums… and notifying appropriate person of counts
- Inspecting and monitor forklift for cleanliness and requests for maintenance
- Flexible to assist with other tasks as assigned
Schedule & Pay:
- 2nd shift Monday – Thursday 3:00pm-1:20am with overtime as required
- $19.50/HR and up based on experience
Material Handler Qualifications:
- Forklift experience
- Material handler/water spider experience is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Basic reading, writing and communication skills
