Quality Inspector Job Summary:
A long-standing seating company in the Grand Rapids area is seeking a temporary experienced Quality Inspector to join their growing team. This position will last 8-12 weeks and requires someone with excellent attention to detail and is committed to upholding the top quality standards.
Quality Inspector Requirements:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products.
- Verify products meet company quality standards, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.
- Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and handheld measuring devices.
- Document inspection results accurately using quality forms, checklists, and digital reporting systems.
- Identify nonconformities and communicate findings to production, engineering, and quality teams.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
Schedule and pay:
- 2nd shift, 3:20pm-11:40pm, able to work an 8, 9 or 10-hour shift. Monday- Friday, overtime as needed.
- $24.01/HR, BOE
Quality Inspector Qualifications:
- 2+ years of inspection experience, distribution, and/or inventory control is required.
- A high level of detail orientation is necessary.
- Strong communication skills are necessary.
- Inspection or quality background is necessary.
- Mus be able to see color, texture, and identify flaws in parts.
