Job Full Description
Set Up Technician Job Summary: A Grand Rapids automotive supplier is looking for an Assembler to join their growing team.
Set Up Technician responsibilities:

Operate a hi-lo to move equipment and materials for workstation setup

Set up and change over workstations according to assembly department procedures
-
Deliver required materials and components to designated work areas

Monitor product levels and communicate with the supervisor when inventory runs low

Ensure workstations are fully stocked and prepared for the next shift

Use scanners to scan label barcodes accurately into the system

Clean, inspect, and review equipment when jobs are removed from assembly machines per schedule
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
-
Complete all required paperwork efficiently, accurately, and neatly

Check and verify proper operation of all quality control sensors on assembly machines
-
Identify required components and deliver them to appropriate areas as needed
Schedule & Pay
- 2nd shift 1:50pm:10:00pm; must be able to work overtime and up to 7 days a week
- $16.00/HR
Set Up Technician Qualifications:
- Able to lift up to 40lbs.
- Able to stand, bend, and walk around the production floor throughout the day.
- Color acuity (minimum average discrimination).
- 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
