IT Coordinator Summary
We’re working with a purpose-driven organization that needs an experienced IT support professional to provide short-term coverage during a leave of absence. This role focuses on hands-on, day-to-day IT support for end users, including desktop and laptop troubleshooting, account management, ticket resolution, and on-site technical support across multiple locations.
This is a plug-and-play role best suited for someone with prior help desk or internal IT experience who can step in quickly with minimal ramp-up.
IT Coordinator Responsibilities

Management of the IT ticketing system, including responding to and resolving daily technical support requests

Hands-on troubleshooting and support for desktops, laptops, operating systems, peripherals, and common enterprise applications

Oversight of user account access, including onboarding, offboarding, password resets, and basic account administration

Coordination with an on-site contract IT provider, including escalation of after-hours or more complex issues

Travel to properties across the organization to provide on-site technical support, workstation setup, and equipment troubleshooting

Tracking and maintenance of IT equipment, including asset lifecycle management and user assignments

Standardization and setup of individual and shared workspaces, including conference rooms and shared equipment

Administrative support for core platforms such as Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, including basic user and access support

Support for multi-factor authentication, connectivity issues, and other day-to-day technical inquiries

Documentation of IT processes, workspace standards, and asset movement

IT Coordinator Qualifications
-
2+ years of hands-on IT support or help desk experience in a traditional IT service environment

Experience supporting desktops/laptops, operating systems, and end users in a day-to-day support role

Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and standard escalation practices

Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and common enterprise applications
-
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and user-related issues
-
Comfortable traveling between multiple local locations
-
High level of trustworthiness and integrity due to access to systems and sensitive user information
-
Patience and adaptability when supporting users with varying levels of technical proficiency
This role is not intended for entry-level candidates or those with primarily telecom, project-based, or adjacent technical experience.
