Maintenance Technician Job Summary

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
- Able to read and understand an equipment manual, contact suppliers or equipment manufacturers for information to support maintaining equipment or creating procedures
- Must be able to operate hand/power tools in a safe manner.
- Maintain/repair mechanical and electrical equipment for the manufacturing and production of industrial and specialty chemicals and pool and spa chemicals.
- Sets up and operates all equipment needed to perform assigned tasks.
- Install and maintain motor control systems for fans, pumps, compressors, etc
- Read and interpret where necessary blueprints, equipment manuals, layouts, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
- Document findings once work orders are completed and ensure that they are completed in a timely manner
- Maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, and light MIG & Stick welding skills and fabrication skills preferred.
Ability to interpret instructions, plan, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install or overhaul parts, equipment, and systems
- Maintain and work with in 5’s and LEAN principles
Schedule & Pay
- 1st shift Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm with overtime as needed
- $30-40/HR
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- 8 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required. Chemical experience is a plus.
- Ability to install and maintain equipment, machinery, motors, drives, conveyors, switches, blades, bearings, belts, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic system
Mechanical pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic experience is a must
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and ERP systems. Chempax experience is a plus
- Comfortable working with various industrial and pool and spa chemicals, working in and around confined spaces
- Wearing respirators and personal protective equipment
- Hi-lo, boom lift, scissor lift, and petti bone experience preferred
- Must have a good driving record and be able to maintain a good driving record
