Welding Maintenance Job Summary:
We are looking for a maintenance Tech at one of the largest heat treating assembly company's in North America. Located in Wyoming, MI, this company is looking for someone who is a team player, dependable, reliable, hard-working, and has a great attendance record and references. Welding Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment
- Dismantles defective machines, tools, fixtures, and other equipment and installs new or repaired parts
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment
- Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
Schedule & Pay:
- 2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime as required, company works 7 days a week at times
- $25-35/HR
Welding Maintenance Qualifications
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
- MIG Welding
- Overhead crane
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, as well as mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Interprets blueprints
- Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment
- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand, and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism
- May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc
