Bindery Assistant Job Summary: Work with a company that prints everything from bestsellers to big-brand materials! As a Bindery Assistant, you’ll be part of a fast-paced team turning raw pages into finished products—while building real, long-term career growth. Bindery Assistant Requirements:
- Catch books off the line and inspect for misprints, bad cuts, and defects.
- Stack books in the correct quantities according to each work order.
- Remove and recycle any defective materials to maintain quantity standards.
- Built, neat, accurate pallet stacks based on each work order's requirements.
- Assist with "Hand Work" when needed - flipping through pages for defects, weighing material, shrink-wrapping books, and supporting other bindery tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and communicate any issues to the team.
Schedule & Pay:
- 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:00pm with OT as needed, ability to work two hours after the shift until 1:00am and some Saturdays
- $16.50/HR
Bindery Assistant Qualifications:
- Attention to detail, inspection skills are helpful
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively
- Excellent attendance is mandatory
- This position can be easily trained
- Willingness to learn new tasks
