MIG/TIG Welder Job Summary:
Grand Rapids, MI, company is seeking a welder that has experience in Mig and Tig. Must have spot on measuring and be a go getter, reliable and dependable.
MIG/TIG Welder Requirements:
- Reviews work orders on each cart of chairs.
- Selects the correct fixtures for the work order.
- Welds chair parts according to work orders. Materials may include steel, stainless, aluminum or alloys using methods including MIG welding.
- Completes one chair for each new order and performs a Buddy Check according to company procedures.
- Completes each order accurately and on time.
- Maintains performs preventative maintenance on weld equipment.
- Performs basic functions on the ERP computer system (clocking in and out, work order maintenance)
- Keeps work area neat and clean according to company standards.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:30am-3:30pm, 6am-2:30pm or 5am-2:30pm
Pay: $19-$23.50/HR
MIG/TIG Welder Qualifications:
- Welding certificate preferred. Must possess ability to weld C-25 MIG thin metal tubing with no weld splatter using a Miller matic 251 machines.
- Functional working knowledge of general hand tools such as drills, grinders, etc.
- Functional computer knowledge required such that one can log times and make simple transactions in the ERP system.
