Material Handler Job Summary:
An international company is looking to hire a material handler to join their plastic incert mold and metal stamping team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with a growing company.
Material Handler Responsibilities:
- Stock the plastic injection mold machines with raw materials to keep them running
- Move material thru the manufacturing process
- Work with shipping and reciving processes
- Assit with setting metal pins into the mold to perform over mold process
- Ensure all plastic material is cleared from the machine during changeovers/material changes
- Perform quality checks on parts
- Assist with changeovers by changing molds (willing to train)
- Assist with operating 100 Ton plastic injection mold press to cover absences
Schedule and Pay:
- 1st shift typically 6:00am-2:00pm for OT could work earlier or later depending on production schedule but no weekends
- $18.00/hr-$20.00/hr
Material Handler Qualifications:
- Previous experience material handling in a plastic injection mold environment, Highly preferred.
- Must have previous experience supplying a manufacturing line with raw materials and removing product from the line manually
- Moving material by hand or pallet jack
- Must be able to read work orders
- Willing to work on the plastic over mold machine as needed
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- Experienced with mold setting is preferred, but the company will train (limited changeovers)
