Job Full Description
Mattress Inspector Job Summary: A Fourth Generation owned and operated privately held company is looking for a Packer to join their team and support their foam mold and fabrication process.
Mattress Inspector Requirements:
- Inspect mattresses for quality defects and ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
- Lift mattress corners to perform detailed visual and physical inspections.
- Transfer mattresses between storage racks and inspection tables.
- Perform repetitive pushing, pulling, pinching, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Work collaboratively with a small inspection team to maintain production quality standards.
- Identify, document, and report product defects or irregularities.
- Follow established inspection procedures, safety guidelines, and quality control standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient inspection work area.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage during the inspection process.
- Perform repetitive material handling and inspection tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm Monday through Friday, with overtime as required
- $18.00/HR
Mattress Inspector Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, inspection, or quality control experience preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions and quality standards.
