Warehouse/Wire Associate Associate Job Summary: We are hiring a warehouse team member at an electrical distribution company located in Grand Rapids, MI. This company has competitive pay and benefits. They pride themselves on great customer service and ensuring that the work completed is meaningful!
Warehouse/Wire Associate Requirements:
- Warehouse activities specific to the receipt, placement into inventory, selection for shipment and shipment of stock
- Packing items
- Preparing items for shipment
- Working with large spools of conduit wire
- Use forklift to move spools
- Use Hand Tools
- Measure with high attention to details
- Operate warehouse equipment including hand trucks, barcode scanners, etc.
- Working with a computerized inventory system
Schedule & Pay:
- 2nd Shift; 3:30pm- 12pm or until done Monday-Friday with overtime as needed
- $19.00/HR
Warehouse Associate Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
required
- Previous warehouse order selection is preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to organize product by alpha-numeric coding
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus
- Experience operating a Forklift
- Previous experience with hand tools and power tools
- Comfortable with computers
- Position requires frequent walking and standing for 8-9 hours
- Ability to learn, understand and improve the shipping process is essential
- Ability to life 50-70 pounds
