Weekend Stand-Up Forklift Driver Job Summary:
We are hiring Material Handlers with solid Forklift skills for a third-party logistics company. They are supporting a customer with offsite storage of packaging materials. We are looking for very skilled forklift drivers to support material movement within a warehouse setting. Weekend Stand-Up Forklift Driver Responsibilities:
- Operate a sit-down and stand-up forklift
- Move material around the warehouse
- Some lifting up to 50lbs
- Use RF Scanners
- Support inventory
- Data entry (minimal)
- Entering inbound and outbound orders in WMS system
- Communicating with internal customers about order activity
- Responsible for the monitoring of high-volume email inbox
- Load and unload trucks with forklift
Schedule & Pay:
- 7:00am-7:00pm Weekends – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- $19.00/HR +1.00/HR shift premium
Weekend Stand-Up Forklift Driver Qualifications:
- Forklift 2-3 yrs. of dedicated experience with stand-up experience
- Previous material handler experience in a warehouse setting
- High attention to detail
- High-paced attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience with RF scanners preferred, but not required
- Inventory support experience using an ERP system
- Good deductive reasoning skills
