Job Title: Tractor Trailer Operator
Location: Detroit, MI
Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: 7am-4pm
Pay: $20.12/hr.,

Job Summary: The Tractor Trailer Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of scrap metal around the yard. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tractor-trailer around the yard for processing. Single cab with either 20ft or 40ft container.
- Assist in general yard duties as needed, including sorting and processing scrap metal.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
- Valid DL no CDL required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating tractor-trailers, preferably in the scrap or recycling industry.
- Ability to operate forklifts, loaders, and other heavy equipment is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Working Conditions:
- Must be willing to work in outdoor environments and various weather conditions.
