Now Hiring: Machine Fabricator – 2nd Shift
Erie, MI
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Pay: $23–$28/hr based on experience

Express Employment is seeking an experienced Machine Fabricator to our client's growing team on 2nd shift. In this role, you’ll build large custom machine structures from blueprint to final weld. If you enjoy solving problems and creating precision work, this position is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding (GMAW) on steel structures
- Read and interpret blueprints to lay out and build custom machinery
- Drill, tap, cut, and prepare steel components
- Operate power tools including jig saws, belt sanders, band saws, and cut-off wheels
- Use grinders (4.5" and 7") and overhead cranes (5-ton and 10-ton)
- Perform oxy-fuel and plasma cutting
- Collaborate with engineers to solve fabrication challenges
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience
- Must be able to weld in the 1G position
- Familiar with fractional/decimal measurements
- Comfortable using a Windows PC
- Must own: welpers, combination square, framing square, tape measure, welding hood, and basic hand tools
