Shipping & Receiving Specialist (Temporary)
The Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for coordinating the flow of materials. This role ensures accuracy and efficiency in receiving incoming shipments, preparing and shipping outgoing orders, and maintaining organized inventory records. The specialist works closely with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to support production schedules and keep operations running smoothly.
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm
Payrate: $22/hr.,

Job Duties:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately log and track materials in our inventory system.
- Prepare, pack, and ship outgoing orders in compliance with company and carrier standards.
- Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve shipping and receiving issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping/receiving area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. safely.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (ERP or shipping software experience a plus).
- Forklift certification a plus.
- Team player with good communication skills.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
