MIG Welder – 1st Shift – $20/Hour – Monday–Friday
Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced MIG Welders for a manufacturing and production facility!
Are you an experienced MIG Welder looking for a steady, first-shift manufacturing job with a consistent weekday schedule and optional overtime? We are seeking skilled and dependable welders with 1–3 years of MIG welding experience to join a production team.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with hands-on welding experience who take pride in quality workmanship, precision, and safe welding practices.
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift

Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Optional Saturday Overtime: 7:00 AM – 11:30 AM
MIG Welder Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Perform MIG welding on manufacturing components, metal parts, and production assemblies.

Read and follow welding instructions, blueprints, specifications, and production work orders as applicable.

Set up, operate, and maintain MIG welding equipment for safe and efficient production.

Inspect raw materials, welded components, and finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.

Identify and report welding defects, equipment issues, and production inconsistencies.

Maintain accurate production records and daily work documentation.

Follow established welding procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.

Work collaboratively with production team members to meet daily manufacturing goals and deadlines.

Follow all workplace safety procedures and company quality standards.
MIG Welder Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

1–3 years of previous MIG welding experience.

Must successfully pass a hands-on welding test.

Ability to follow standard operating procedures, welding instructions, and work specifications.

Basic math skills and ability to read measurements.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds.

Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Commitment to workplace safety and proper welding practices.
- Weld test required.
