Job Full Description
Job Title: Quality Officer (2nd Shift - Evaluation to Hire)
Pay Rate: $19.75 per hour
Shift: 3p-11p Mon-Fri
Join our team as a Quality Officer and play a key role in maintaining and improving product quality. You’ll work closely with the Quality/Training Supervisor to support quality initiatives, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement in the plant.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform PPAP, FAIR, and CMM inspections as needed.

Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with test schedules.

Conduct monthly process audits and document production rejects/non-conformances.

Support QMS maintenance and ISO Certification requirements.

Provide quality training and onboard new team members.

Lead 8D reports for production issues and drive corrective actions.

Contribute improvement ideas for lean methodologies and efficiency gains.

Assist with other quality-related tasks as needed.

? Knowledge of Mill Standard and specs for metals and measuring tools
? Knowledge of GD&T is needed
? Knowledge and experience on Lean Manufacturing and ISO
? Ability to use Microsoft Office applications on a daily basis
? Able to solve work-related problems and recommend optimal solutions
? Skilled in Math, basic analytics and statistics
? Must be knowledgeable of blueprint reading
? Keeping current on quality issues, not limited to attending seminars or workshops
