Express Employment is hiring a Machine Operator for a unique textile company!

Pay: $21 per hour
Shift: 10 hours Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday
6am to 430pm (3 breaks throughout the day)
Machine Operator Position Purpose: Machine Operators are responsible for operating, maintaining, controlling and operating equipment used to produce sub-level and finished goods.. Operators run sophisticated machines by managing settings and input product to produce high quality products to be shipped to customers. Attention to details of both the equipment and all materials is critical to meeting customer and business requirements.
Essential Functions: Machine Operator
- Set up machines to ensure proper working order
- Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedures
- Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift
- Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running
- Troubleshoot problems during machine operation
- Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out
- Perform random tests to ensure accuracy
- Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output
- Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times
- Create and maintain activity logs
- Provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors
- Rotate duties with 1 to 2 other people throughout the day
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management

- While performing the duties of this position the person is regularly required to walk, bend, crouch and successfully demonstrate the ability to write and use a personal computer.
- Successful performance requires vision abilities to read files, reports, and other work-related forms in both paper and electronic format.
- Employees in this position may need to regularly lift at least 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and may need to exert themselves while performing the above-mentioned duties.
