Purchasing Specialist (Hybrid) – East Metro | $65K–$78K
We’re hiring a Purchasing Specialist for a direct-hire opportunity with a growing East Metro company known for its collaborative, people-first culture. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented procurement professional who enjoys problem-solving and supplier management. No sourcing required.
Schedule: Hybrid (on-site 3–4 days/week)
Responsibilities

Develop and execute purchasing and procurement strategies

Manage supplier relationships, pricing, and contract negotiations

Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures

Oversee purchase orders from placement through delivery

Ensure product quality, compliance, and accurate documentation

Collaborate with internal teams to meet operational needs

Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
-
3–5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience

Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills

Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Business Central a plus

Manufacturing or food packaging industry experience preferred
