Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about accuracy, financial analysis, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes; maintain and update financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts; prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities; assist in the development and review of operating budgets; perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations; oversee inventory tracking and reporting documentation; ensure accuracy of account entries and supporting documentation; meet strict processing and reporting deadlines; respond to internal and external accounting inquiries and audit requests; identify, research, and resolve account discrepancies and errors; develop and document process improvements for accounting operations; ensure compliance with GAAP standards and monitor implementation of new FASB updates.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; minimum of 5 years of accounting experience preferred; strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting; experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations; excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
