Job Full Description
Associate will be a Construction Carpenter for a local company. Must have general construction knowledge, framing & trim work experience. Must know how to read a tape measure. Equipment Operation is a plus. Candidate could potentially become a Foreman.
General Duties:
• Use hand and power tools to repair wooden or metal structures and/or structural parts
• May work as a subcontractor for general contractors to build structures
• Remodel or repair buildings based on customer-approved plans and specifications
• Build temporary structures such as forms for concrete
• Layout and erect structural skeleton frames of buildings
• Finish interiors such as fit doors and windows, apply wood trims or paneling, lay wood floors, fabricate built-in cabinets, construct bookcases, and build ornamental woodwork
