Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for a local company in Bonne Terre, MO.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping
- Lead, train, and schedule warehouse staff to meet production and delivery goals
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and proper documentation
- Oversee the handling of raw materials (steel, aluminum, etc.) and finished goods
- Ensure materials are staged and delivered to production areas on time
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and vendors
- Enforce safety standards, including proper handling of heavy materials and equipment
- Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements
- Maintain organized storage systems for efficient material retrieval
- Track and report key performance metrics (inventory levels, order accuracy, on-time shipments)
- Inspect equipment (forklifts, delivery trucks, etc.) and ensure proper maintenance and safe operation
- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and management teams to align priorities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of inventory control systems and warehouse best practices
- Experience handling metal materials and operating equipment such as forklifts or overhead cranes
- Understanding of workplace safety standards (OSHA knowledge a plus)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Pay: Based on Experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
