Job Full Description
Filling a long-term opportunity for an experienced HVAC technician in Sedalia. Starting pay will be experience-based, but expected to be in the $25-$29hr range. MUST have previous HVAC experience. Client is not looking to train.
The hours will be Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm
Duties include:
- Install new HVAC systems according to specifications and design plans.
- Perform routine maintenance on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics.
- Conduct field service calls to diagnose issues and provide solutions for clients.
- Repair or replace defective equipment components as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Drive company van to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and field service operations.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or in a related technical field is advantageous.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving company vehicles to job sites.
