CPA firm seeks highly detailed and financially-minded individual for open position.  Primary responsibility will be the preparation of tax returns for Individuals, Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships.  Applicant will work daily with partners and have an opportunity for broad exposure to a variety of accounting/financial planning activities to include: reviews and financial statement preparation.

• Establish the integrity of accounting and tax info by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions
  

• Analyze complex financial and tax reports and records
  

• Maintain general ledger, prepare trial balance and reconciling entries
  

• Making journal entries for financial transactions
  

• Summarize and prepare financial reports, including balance sheet and profit and loss statements 
  

• Prepare corporate, partnership and individual tax returns in compliance with federal and state government tax laws
  

• Knowledgeable and comfortable using different tools such as QuickBooks and other software
  

• Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines

•  Ability to explain complex accounting data in a simple way, ability to analyze complex systems, problem solving skills, good verbal and written communication
