Job Full Description
Accounts Payable
We are looking for an accounts payable candidate for our client in the Johnson City area.
This is currently a 6 month long contract with and insurance company (possibility for extension).
Hours: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Pay: $18 - $19/ hr
Responsibilities Include:

Process and maintain recurring monthly, quarterly and annual payments for special consulting and compensation fees

Process daily checks/eft payments and validate that the account coding, authorization approvals, sales tax and 1099 reporting are accurate and in compliance with company policy

Process check cancellations and replacements

Respond to check verification inquiries

Invoice verifications and check distribution for daily payments, add/update banking information as needed
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or experience in accounting.
- Experience in accounts payable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office
