Administrative Assistant / Clerical
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17–$19 per hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a reliable and professional Administrative Assistant / Clerical candidate to support daily office operations in a residential or community-based setting. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a people-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to on-site management, including document preparation, filing, and record maintenance
- Answer multi-line phones, greet visitors, and direct inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and tracking systems
- Assist with rent-related documentation, billing support, and general clerical tasks
- Respond to resident or customer needs directly or route requests to appropriate staff
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Receive and forward maintenance requests according to procedure
- Update bulletin boards, newsletters, and internal communications as needed
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or at least 2 years of administrative/clerical experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (or similar programs)
- Comfortable working with databases and basic publishing tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and customer service skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience working with elderly or disabled populations is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs as needed
- Occasional bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use office equipment such as computers, copiers, and phones
