About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established service-based business in the Conklin, NY area, is seeking a detail-oriented Parts & Inventory Associate to support daily operations across inventory management, parts handling, and customer service.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with physical inventory, and supporting both internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and data entry for parts and materials
- Tag, stock, and organize incoming parts inventory
- Distribute parts to technicians to support scheduled service jobs
- Assist with preparing and processing warranty claims
- Track parts usage and ensure proper documentation and reporting
- Keep inventory and work areas clean, organized, and efficient
- Provide customer service via phone and in person, assisting with parts inquiries and general questions
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure timely job completion
Qualifications
- Previous experience in inventory, parts, warehouse, or similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable with data entry and basic computer systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Solid communication skills for both customer and team interactions
- Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs safely
- Comfortable being on your feet, bending, and moving throughout the workday
- Ability to work in a shop/warehouse environment
