Route Driver / Merchandiser
Pay: $23.00/hr
We are seeking a dependable Route Driver / Merchandiser to deliver and stock packaged bakery products at retail locations throughout the region. This position combines driving, merchandising, inventory rotation, and customer service.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Days off: Wednesday & Sunday
- Flexible start time between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM
- Typical shifts are 8-10 hours
Responsibilities
- Load your truck each morning based on your route
- Deliver baked goods to retail customers
- Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and check expiration dates
- Build positive relationships with store personnel
- Use handheld scanning technology to track deliveries and inventory
- Maintain an organized and professional product display
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen and DOT physical
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly
- Comfortable using handheld technology
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Merchandising/Retail experience preferred
