Job Full Description
A reputable food distributor in Conklin, NY, is seeking dependable Warehouse Workers to join the team in a Temp - Hire role. This role is integral in ensuring the organization of goods in their warehouse.
Pay rate: $18.00/hr
Hours/Schedule: 2 am-10 am Monday through Friday (Hours may vary slightly)
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Organize and store products efficiently.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts or electric pallet jacks (training available for qualified candidates).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous shipping/receiving experience.
- Familiarity with forklift or electric pallet jack operation.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Ability to work early morning hours (2:00 AM start).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to lift and move items as required.
