CNC Machinist

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated CNC Lathe Machinist! FT, M-Thurs, 7am-3:30pm (Optional OT Friday), starting pay $25.00hr. This position is a DIRECT PLACEMENT position, responsible for producing precision-machined components by setting up and operating CNC equipment, interpreting technical documentation, and ensuring all parts meet quality standards. Ideal candidates will have hands-on machining experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines and related equipment.
• Produce precision components to customer and engineering specifications/allowances.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

Required

• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
• 3+ years CNC Lathe Machinist exp.
• Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation.
• General working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift 35-40 lbs. on an infrequent basis.
• Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety goggles and steel-toe/composite-toe work boots.

• M-Thurs 7-3:30pm (Optional OT on Fridays)
• Flexible scheduling options may become available after training, including:
  • Four 10-hour shifts
  • Four 11-hour shifts
