Job Full Description
Express Employment is working with a local Manufacturing company in their search for a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure production goals are met, and support a safe, high-performing work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customer requirements for quality and on-time delivery are consistently met.
- Complete required production paperwork, reports, timesheets, and documentation.
- Coordinate with management on production needs, priorities, and staffing.
- Evaluate and adjust staffing levels based on workload.
- Communicate clearly with employees to ensure proper job performance and information flow.
- Oversee operator performance and provide hands-on support on the production floor.
- Contribute to development of work instructions and cycle times.
- Perform quality control checks and make necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
- Address personnel issues, support employee development, and promote strong team morale.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping.
- Collaborate with Shipping, Molding, Quality, and Engineering departments.
- Participate in new project support and other assigned tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and lead by example at all times.
- Work additional hours when needed to meet production demands.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments required.
- Plastic injection molding experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work off-shift and outside normal hours when needed.
