Job Full Description
Express is working with a local non-profit in their search for a Business Operations Coordinator.
The Operations Coordinator supports the Business Services Department by coordinating daily administrative and operational activities. Working closely with the Department Director, this role helps manage office systems, departmental operations, procurement processes, and facility-related support services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
- Supporting workplace safety initiatives
- Oversees centralized purchasing activities including vendor selection, coordinating competitive bids, negotiating service agreements, and managing contracts for equipment, supplies, and services.
- Manage fixed asset inventory
- Supports facility operations including maintenance coordination, work orders, telecommunications systems, and front desk operations.
Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support, maintaining records and data systems, assisting with safety monitoring and facility compliance, and supporting day-to-day agency operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of administrative or office management experience

Experience with purchasing, inventory management, facilities coordination, or project support

2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office management systems
