Jordan Modiano
Owner | Express Employment Professionals of Albany & Saratoga
I've always believed that success isn't measured simply by what you accomplish, but by the difference you make in the lives of others.
My professional journey has been anything but conventional. I started my career in the automotive industry, spent nearly 20 years in advertising and marketing, and in 2015 decided it was time to do something different. I wanted to build a business that was successful financially but also made a meaningful impact on people and our community.
That decision led me to Express Employment Professionals. On September 14, 2015, I opened our Albany office, followed by our Saratoga location in 2019. Today, we're proud to help businesses throughout the Capital Region find great people while helping individuals discover opportunities to build better lives and careers.
As a business owner, I'm passionate about leadership, building relationships, challenging the status quo, and finding better ways to do things. I believe in surrounding myself with great people, empowering them to succeed, and creating an environment where everyone has the opportunity to grow. I'm a big believer in working hard, being accountable, having fun, and never becoming so comfortable that you stop learning.
Outside of Express, I'm the founder and president of Racers 4 Autism, a nonprofit inspired by my daughter, Rachel. Through racing, community partnerships, and special events, we're working to create opportunities, promote autism acceptance, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by autism. It's a mission that's incredibly personal to me and one of the most rewarding things I've ever been part of.
I'm also a competitive race car driver, the owner of Modiano Motorsports, and a motivational speaker. Whether I'm leading a team, working with a client, speaking to an audience, or strapped into a race car, I bring the same energy, passion, and determination to everything I do.
Originally from Long Island, my wife, Mindi, and I moved to the Capital Region in 1999 and proudly call it home. My greatest joy and motivation come from my family, especially Mindi and our daughter, Rachel, who continually remind me what really matters.
I believe life is about relationships, experiences, taking chances, and making an impact. I don't have all the answers, and I'm certainly not afraid to make mistakes, but I believe in learning from them, getting better every day, and helping others do the same.
Whether I'm building a business, leading a team, speaking to an audience, or racing around a track, my goal is always to make a positive difference. And while racing has taught me a lot about determination, focus, and never giving up, my greatest inspiration has always come from my daughter.
As I often say, "I'm the driver, but Rachel is the driving force."
