Job Full Description
We’re hiring a fast and accurate department Dispatcher to handle the daily scheduling, routing, and coordination of deliveries and service calls. This role serves as the communication hub between customers, drivers, and internal departments, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment in our busy season.
Schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Dispatching & Scheduling
• Create and manage daily delivery and service schedules for propane drivers.
• Track and schedule automatic delivery/keep fill customers to ensure they do not run out.
• Adjust routes and priorities based on emergencies, weather, customer needs, and operational changes.
• Monitor driver progress throughout the day and provide support when needed.
• Coordinate with customers for safety checks for new customers
Customer Service
• Serve as the primary point of contact for propane customers regarding deliveries, service requests, and scheduling.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and emergencies with professionalism and accuracy.
Operational Support
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, service calls, and equipment.
• Coordinate quoting, permitting, and inspections of gas piping installations.
• Track and maintain customer product files and billing.
Team Support
• Support drivers with clear instructions, route changes, and customer updates.
• Work with service personnel to schedule installations, sets, and maintenance.
