Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Location: South Asheville, NC Schedule: Part-Time (20 hours per week), Tuesday - Thursday Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour
We are currently partnering with a local church organization in South Asheville to find a dedicated and like-minded Part-Time Administrative Assistant. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a servant's heart who can work independently and is eager to support the mission of a local church.
Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support: Serve as the central point of contact for the church office, handling all incoming calls, emails, and correspondence. This includes drafting letters, preparing documents, and maintaining organized filing systems.

Calendar & Communication Management: Maintain the Reverend's schedule, including appointments, meetings, and events. You will also screen and respond to emails and other communications on their behalf, ensuring timely and professional replies.

Project & Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating logistics for church events, meetings, and retreats. This involves preparing materials and coordinating with staff and volunteers.

Technology & Communication Support: Help manage the church's technology, including updates to the church website, social media, and digital communication platforms. You will utilize software such as Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.

Record Keeping: Maintain and organize church records with discretion, including membership lists and other confidential documents.
Qualifications

Technical Proficiency: Must be comfortable with various digital communication platforms, social media, and website updates. Experience with Google Suite (Email, Calendars, Docs) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.

Core Skills: You should be highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently with little supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Other Requirements: A valid driver’s license is a must for occasional errands. The ability to learn new technology quickly and efficiently is also vital.
