Job Full Description
The Heat Stamp Operator is responsible for operating stamping equipment to imprint letters, numbers, logos, or designs onto a variety of materials such as leather, plastic, fabric, or paper products using heat and pressure. The operator ensures quality, consistency, and accuracy in the final product while maintaining safe and efficient machine operation.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate heat stamping machines according to product specifications and work orders.

Monitor and adjust machine settings such as temperature, pressure, and alignment.

Inspect materials for defects before and after stamping.

Ensure proper placement and alignment of stamps or dies.

Maintain high quality standards by performing regular quality checks.

Record production data and complete necessary documentation.

Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

Follow all safety and company guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.

Notify supervisor of any machine malfunctions or material issues.
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment; heat stamping experience is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret work instructions, measurements, and blueprints.

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Willingness to work overtime or shifts as needed.

Standing, bending, and repetitive hand motion required throughout shift.
