Job Title: Installer I - Helper/Apprentice
Location: Fayetteville, NC
Pay: $14/hour
Job Type: Full-Time | First Shift
Position Overview: Supports the installation team by performing labor-intensive and preparatory tasks while developing the skill required to become a fully capable HVAC installer. Ensures jobsite safety, equipment handling, and customer property protection while learning installation procedures to company standards

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead installer and senior technicians with all phases of HVAC system installation
- Transport equipment, materials, and tools to and from job sites safely
- Prepare work areas including protective coverings, debris containment, and equipment staging
- Assist with removal of existing HVAC equipment and components
- Support installation of ductwork, piping, wiring (as permitted), and equipment placement under supervision
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness throughout the project and perform final cleanup
- Load and unload trucks; verify materials against job requirements
- Maintain organization of tools, inventory, and truck stock
- Follow all safety procedures including PPE use and ladder safety
- Observe and learn proper installation techniques and manufacturer requirements
- Assist with documentation tasks such as photos and serial number recording when directed
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers
Qualifications:
- Entry-level position; mechanical aptitude preferred
- Prior construction or trade experience helpful but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and reliability
