Join Our Homecoming Event Team!
We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused Event Workers to assist with a variety of Homecoming activities at a local university in Fayetteville, NC on October 17. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a large community event.
Available Assignments
Event Workers may be assigned to one or more of the following areas:
Football game operations and guest assistance
Tailgating and parking lot support
Homecoming parade assistance
Crowd management and event security support
Campus tour guides and visitor assistance
Ticket scanning and entry gate operations
Event setup and breakdown
Directional guidance and information services
Responsibilities
Welcome and assist students, alumni, families, and guests.
Provide directions and answer general event questions.
Monitor assigned areas and report concerns to supervisors.
Assist with parking and traffic flow.
Support crowd management and maintain a safe environment.
Help with event setup, cleanup, and equipment organization.
Follow all event policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required.
Ability to stand and walk for several hours.
Prior event, security, customer service, or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required.
