Express Employment Professionals- Akron is searching for a Bridgeport Operator in the Barberton, Ohio area
About the Role:
The Bridgeport Operator (Manual Machinist) will drill and tap tubing and hydraulic fittings per customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricates hydraulic tubing and hydraulic fittings per customer print.
- Rework tooling.
- Drills holes in tubing in preparation for fitting installation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Work with engineers to improve the design of tools, fixtures and automated equipment.
- Maintain cutting, stamping and powder metal compaction dies by cleaning, grinding, honing and lapping.
- Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing equipment.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- CNC vertical milling machine
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
- Efficient use of calipers and height gauge.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good math (counting) and written communication skills.
- Efficient time management skills and ability to effectively multitask.
- Basic computer literacy needed.
- Creative problem solving
- Attention to detail
