🛠️ Position Overview:

Express Employment Professionals of Akron is seeking a skilled MIG Welder for a full-time, day shift opportunity in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. If you have a strong background in welding and fabrication, and take pride in producing high-quality work, this is your chance to join a reputable company that values craftsmanship and safety.

🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 💰 Pay:  $20-25 per hour

 

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan welding tasks

  • Select and operate MIG welding equipment based on job specifications

  • Cut and prep materials using saws and grinders

  • Align and secure parts using clamps and measuring tools

  • Perform MIG welding in multiple positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead)

  • Inspect welds and perform necessary repairs

  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment

  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE

 

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting

  • Proficiency with MIG welding equipment and techniques

  • Skilled in using hand and power tools (calipers, grinders, saws, etc.)

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints

  • Strong understanding of metal properties and welding safety standards

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
