🏭 About the Role:
Express Employment Professionals of Akron is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operators for a full-time, 1st shift and 2nd shift positions in Barberton, Ohio. This role involves operating specialized machinery to mold rubber products to precise shapes and quality standards. If you're mechanically inclined and thrive in a hands-on environment, this could be the perfect fit.
💰 Starting Pay: $16.25/hour 🕒 Schedule: Monday- Thursday -10 hours each day--opportunity for overtime on Fridays!
🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Load raw rubber materials into molding presses
-
Operate machinery according to production schedules and work orders

Monitor temperature, pressure, and cycle times to ensure product quality

Visually inspect finished products for defects and report any issues
-
Safely load and unload materials and finished goods using manual tools

Perform other related duties as assigned
✅ What We’re Looking For:

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects

Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 50 lbs

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Solid math and written communication skills

Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, etc.)

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
