Cash and Credit Auditor/Processor

About the Role
Express Employment Professionals in Akron is seeking a detail‑oriented Cash and Credit Auditor/Processor to support a leading client in their financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and is committed to accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Manage key metrics while servicing and auditing assigned stores.

Review daily deposits and research over/short discrepancies

Collaborate with banks, Treasury, Store Operations, Loss Prevention, and other internal departments to ensure compliance.

Support additional projects and duties as assigned.

Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
Education
Experience
-
1+ year of job‑related experience.
- Previous experience in banking a plus+
-
Background in AP, AR, Rent, and/or Sales Audit functions preferred—especially in a retail environment.
Technical & Professional Skills
-
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Customer‑first mindset while balancing business needs.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Approachable, service‑focused, and able to build positive working relationships across departments.

Proficiency with PC software including email, Microsoft Teams, and beginner–intermediate Excel and Word.

Comfortable using office equipment such as multi‑function copiers and high‑capacity scanners.

Basic understanding of SOX, PCI, and financial/banking terminology.

Experience with systems such as SAP, ReconNet, and bankcard provider web portals is a plus.
