About the Position:
We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Water Department Laborer to join a dedicated municipal team committed to community service and public safety. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outdoors, be comfortable with physically demanding tasks, and have a flexible attitude toward supporting various needs within the city. This is an evaluation to hire opportunity!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general operations and maintenance tasks for the water department
- Perform duties across multiple locations
- Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Support a variety of public works projects as needed
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Must be able to walk, stoop, and stand for 8-10 hours per shift
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round
- Full range of motion required for physical tasks
- Valid driver's license required
- Drug screen (safety sensitive) and background check
