Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: OKC/Metro Area
Schedule: Monday through Friday, Full-Time; 8am-5pm
Pay: Depends on Experience
About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to support residential excavating company in and around the OKC/Metro area. The candidate be responsible for operating excavating equipment to perform site preparation, trenching, grading, and earthmoving on construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, and/or scrapers
- Perform trenching, grading, digging, and backfilling
- Read and follow site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications
- Follow all safety procedures and job site regulations
- Work with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday – Friday; 8am-5pm (Some weekend availability may be required based on project needs)
Qualifications:
- Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
- Able to bend, stoop, and stand for the duration of the shift
- Must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Drug screen (safety sensitive) and background check is be required
