Preventative
Maintenance needed!!!!
Lubricates bearings and other working parts of mechanical equipment with oil or grease. Adjusts feed of oil to
moving parts, keeps sumps or wells of lubricating systems filled with oil. Replaces cutting oils and coolants as
required. Has knowledge of proper lubricants for each type of service. Maintains oil stocks and keeps oil house
in good and safe condition. Performs preventive maintenance duties on production machines including changing
air motors, air cylinders, air lines, air fittings, air valves, piping, and cleaning air/water traps. Makes daily checks
of oil systems, lubricators, filters, and regulators on all production machines. Makes daily checks of coolant in
production machines, changing when needed. Replaces any coolant lines, valve, motors, hoses, and piping as
needed. Maintains a clean and orderly work area and oil department. A list of required tools will be provided.
