Requirements/Essential
The Technician will support the production and test operations of advanced electronics manufacturing processes. Working closely with engineers and operators, this role ensures that equipment, test systems, and assembly processes function reliably, meet performance targets, and adhere to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing or testing, strong troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to learn in a technology-driven, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and maintain test equipment, measurement systems, and manufacturing tools.

Execute test procedures, assembly operations, calibration steps, and documentation per standard work instructions.

Identify, log, and troubleshoot equipment faults, process anomalies, and product test failures; communicate findings to engineers and operations leads.

Perform preventive maintenance and routine checks on instrumentation and tools to reduce downtime.

Ensure processes comply with quality, safety, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Collect and record data (electrical, optical, mechanical) from production and test systems; assist with analysis of yield, SPC, and root-cause investigations.

Assist in setting up new tooling, modifying test fixtures, and configuring equipment under direction of process or engineering teams.

Support continuous improvement efforts: propose process improvements, test optimizations, and document changed procedures.

Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
An Associate’s degree or higher in an appropriate field, three or more years of experience in a similar position, or equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
Possess an understanding of automated and semi-automated process tooling, ideally, as it
pertains to thin-film electronic devices, sensors, and fabrication.
Able and willing to work alternate shifts and overtime as needed.
Demonstrable skills addressing a significant number of the points contained in this position
description.
Able to pass random drug testing.
