Job Full Description
Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant will handle daily office operations including answering phones, providing excellent customer service, assisting with bids and paperwork, managing filing systems, and coordinating permit applications with local cities and counties.
Approximately 30 hours per week (potential for full-time in the future)
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
Schedule appointments and coordinate with plumbing technicians
Assist with typing, formatting, and submitting bids and estimates
File and organize paperwork, service records, and job documentation
Apply for and track permits through local city and county systems
Maintain a clean and organized office environment
Provide general administrative support to office staff and management as needed
Qualifications:
Previous office or administrative experience preferred (construction or plumbing industry a plus)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
