Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dermatologist to join our healthcare team. The Dermatologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, performing medical and cosmetic dermatologic procedures, and providing personalized, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to delivering high-quality clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, infections, and skin cancers.

  • Perform skin examinations, biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other dermatologic procedures.

  • Provide cosmetic dermatology services such as Botox, fillers, chemical peels, and laser treatments (as applicable).

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical assessments.

  • Educate patients on skincare, skin cancer prevention, and long-term management of chronic skin conditions.

  • Interpret diagnostic tests including pathology reports, dermatoscopic findings, and laboratory results.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely patient records in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

  • Stay current with advancements in dermatology through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

  • Completion of an accredited Dermatology residency program.

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Dermatology.

  • Valid state medical license (or ability to obtain one).

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient counseling skills.

  • Commitment to high ethical standards and evidence-based practice.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • Experience with cosmetic dermatologic procedures (optional based on setting).

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Work Environment
